I found it in some mysterious Reddit thread (buried in the same way as 7 comments deep under an ad for crypto). Its not upon the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be amazed how rare that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, in imitation of it acts following it saved but nada.

Interface looks in the same way as Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt instagram story viewer private just allow us get this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep past audio (sorta), but IG acts as soon as Reels are nuclear instigation codes. Wild.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be put-on This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I acquire it. We desire to save that reel. appear in it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
